DLR - Items for Grading

All student submissions that are yet to be marked by the trainer can be found in the DLR – Items for Grading section on the trainer’s dashboard.

On the dashboard, click on the green arrow (circled in red) in the screenshot to access the DLR – Items for Grading section.

In the DLR – Items for Grading, the trainers can directly access the items they’d like to grade.

Grading a Quiz

The section in ‘Green’ in the screenshot below is where trainers can see the answer(s) of the students.

The section in ‘Orange’ is where trainers can see the answers from the Answer Key and mark the student(s) correct or incorrect.

The ‘White’ text box is where trainers can leave feedback for the student for the question.

It is strongly recommended that the trainer click the “Save” button after marking each question to prevent data loss in the event of a connection issue.

Once done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Submit Grades” to make sure your work gets saved. Students will be notified of their results.

Grading an Asssignment

Assignment – An assessment type where a student must upload a file as a submission.

In “File Submissions”, the trainer can find the student’s uploaded file submission. The trainer can click on the submitted file to download the document and grade it.

The trainer can leave feedback in the “Feedback Comments” box or upload a feedback file.

Further, the trainer can also “Allow another attempt” from the dropdown. Once done, please click “Save Changes” to save your work.

Grades Tab

The trainers can click on a unit then click on Grades, to find a complete overview of all students’ assessment progress in the unit.

The trainers can view specific groups by selecting a group from the “Separate Groups” drop down.
